Like studying?

We encourage our trainees to have interests outside work. Like studying.

We don’t expect our trainees literally to work around the clock. We give them the freedom to study and take exams within a timeframe that suits them and their employers. Study readily fits around priorities at work – and for some of our exams – computer-based assessment makes progress even more flexible. And, as the classroom isn’t always the right place for everyone to learn, our trainees can also choose to study online or by distance learning. In addition, ACCA trainees learn through both exams and experience. They continue to learn in the workplace because the knowledge developed through our exams is directly relevant to day-to-day business. ACCA’s training focuses on workplace performance which is great news for employers as ACCA trainees quickly become more effective in the workplace. So, you get the best out of your trainees at work. And they get their head in the books when it suits them.

And if you haven’t done so already, you could join our network of 8,500 employers worldwide who have registered on our Approved Employer programme. By joining this programme, your organisation will receive recognition for the best-practice learning and development policies you have in place to support the needs of your finance employees.

So everyone’s a winner.
