100 percent exam pass rate at KPMG

Students go from strength to strength

23 Mar 2007

ACCA students on KPMG UK's graduate audit scheme continue to excel, achieving a 100% pass rate at the Part 2 exams in December last year.

The students, who all began their studies in September 2005 as the first-ever cohort for the programme, also achieved a 100 percent pass rate in their Part 1 examinations.

ACCA students are based at a number of regional offices of KPMG, including Birmingham and Reading. Cathy Draisey, Midlands exam training manager, KPMG says: "These results are a reflection of the hard work of our ACCA students...I hope their peers in the Autumn 2006 intake are as successful and that the students on this graduate programme continue to go from strength to strength."

Reflecting on the importance of the programme, Ruth Stokes, director of recruitment and resourcing, KPMG: "Our interest in the ACCA qualification forms part of our long-term strategy to widen the talent pool from which we recruit. We recognise the importance of a diverse intake and our research shows that the ACCA qualification has the potential to help us recruit from a wider pool."
