Online UK tax updates
New service from BPP

With so much information published about developments in UK taxation, it can be difficult for accountants in practice and industry to feel confident that they are aware of all the important developments. New online monthly taxation updates offered by BPP, an ACCA approved e-learning provider, provide a distillation of important cases, legislative changes and official pronouncements in the UK, so users can be reassured that they have not missed any significant changes.
Each update covers both personal and business tax and is followed by an optional review test to confirm understanding. The online offering consists of the following additional services:
- two audiovisual presentations covering personal and business tax which last between 20 and 30 minutes - each presentation consists of a PowerPoint slide show covering the key cases, legislative changes and official pronouncements, which have arisen during the month
- an audio-only/podcast version of the above presentations - for those who wish to catch up with the presentation via a MP3 player.
- a monthly review test which offers an effective way to test your understanding.
Feedback has been extremely positive with users finding the monthly updates an extremely helpful way of keeping informed of new developments. Others have noted the flexibility of online access as a real bonus, allowing unlimited viewing of the presentations as well as the ability to pause, fast forward and rewind.
