CIA challenge examination now available from The IIA
ACCA members given unique opportunity to gain specialist audit qualification

A partnership agreement was recently signed with The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) to enable ACCA members to benefit both from membership of The IIA and a unique opportunity to gain specialist audit certification.
Registrations are now being accepted for the unique challenge examination leading to the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification which will be held on 15 November 2007. The exam recognises the achievements that ACCA members have already attained, hence the opportunity to achieve the CIA through an abbreviated assessment. Exam entries must be received by The IIA by 30 September and the exam entry fee is US$300. Please note that the challenge examination is not available in Canada.
The partnership also offers ACCA members the exclusive opportunity to join either their local IIA Affiliate, or alternatively IIA global headquarters, at a specially reduced rate and gain a further discount of US$100 on the examination entry fee.
