ACCA members from across the world meet in London this week to take part in ACCA’s International Assembly.
22 Nov 2007
Now in its 11th year, the International Assembly comprises representatives from all regions where ACCA has members.
The Assembly meets annually to consider issues of strategic global importance to ACCA and accordingly act as an adviser to ACCA's Council on future direction.
The theme of this year's gathering is Thirty years of achievement in international accounting , chosen to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
One of the highlights of the Assembly will be a dinner at the Foundling Museum , honouring IFAC's thirty years of leadership in the international accountancy profession in the presence of Fermin del Valle, IFAC's president. This occasion will also see the presentation of the ACCA's Achievement Awards for 2007.
