The Sir David Tweedie prize, awarded to students who achieve the highest mark worldwide for completing Paper P2, Corporate Reporting (INT) across two exam sessions, was last month presented at the offices of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) offices in London.
Sir David Tweedie, chairman of the IASB, presented a signed copy of the International Accounting Standards to Muhammad Azhar Azim, from Pakistan, and Harsheel Shah, from Tanzania.
Harsheel, who works for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dar-es-Salaam, said, 'I am very proud to have put Tanzania and its ACCA students on the world map,' while Muhammad said, 'This will make a significant impact on my resume.'
