ACCA is one of the leading global accountancy bodies in Australia & New Zealand with more than 5,500 students and members. Our head office opened in Sydney, Australia in 2008 and continues to grow alongside our student and member bases. We also introduced a satellite office in Auckland, New Zealand to help maintain a local presence and to support our very active students and member community.
ACCA's mission in Australia & New Zealand includes:
- to improve awareness and recognition of the ACCA brand in both Australia and New Zealand;
- to sustain, support and engage our expanding member and student base;
- to be an international accountancy voice in the local market;
- to work in the public interest of the profession.
As part of our commitment to being the ‘voice’ of the profession, ACCA works with a number of academic institutions and established research houses both locally and globally to produce research reports relevant for the accounting and finance profession.
ACCA has a leading-edge CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme. All members are required to undertake relevant CPD to ensure that they maintain and develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today's dynamic and demanding business environment.
Our local professional development programme includes technical updates, interest groups, executive forums and seminars.
