The global body for professional accountants

The SMP/SME (Small and Medium Practice/Small and Medium Enterprise) interest group is a platform for interesting discussion and tackling some of the challenges facing SMEs/SMPs. Given that many SMEs depend heavily on their SMPs for a range of accounting and business advisory services, we thought it was a great chance for the two groups to come together to discuss a range of topics.

This interest group also gives members the opportunity to learn, discuss and share topical information related to SMP/SME and is an easy way to connect and network with other members who are interested in this area.

Who should attend

All women ACCA members, affiliates and students, who would value the opportunity to engage with other SME/SMP professionals who may have shared career experiences would find participating in the group of value.

The sessions are held by webinar to allow for participants from around the country to be involved. The webinar is held for 1 hour from 7pm to 8pm Sydney time on the second Monday of each month.

Topics cover a range of areas including: updates from the Tax Practitioners Board, insolvency regulations, organisation strategies, presentation skills, End of financial year, employment law, customer acquisition strategies along with updates on ACCA's initiatives in SME.

Events are free of charge and you will be awarded 1 CPD point for each session.
