ACCA opened Guangzhou office
The third mainland China office was established.

Contract awarded to ACCA and Xiamen University
ACCA and Xiamen University won a World Bank contract in relation to the curriculum development programme of the National Accounting Institute (NAI) in May.

First honorary ACCA member from China
Professor Tang Yun Wei received the award in July. At that time he was Chairman of Dahua Certified Public Accountants and a partner in Ernst & Young China. He is also former President of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
