To complete the ACCA Qualification it is essential that trainees complete ACCA's practical experience requirements. If you are a student or an affiliate then that means you.

You need to be able to apply the knowledge gained through your exams and develop the skills that you will need to demonstrate as a qualified accountant. And everyone has to do it to become an ACCA member.

To help plan and record your practical experience, all ACCA trainees have access to a personal trainee development matrix (TDM). This online tool lets you plan and record any practical experience you are gaining at the moment, gained prior to registering with ACCA, or need to transfer from your Student Training Record (STR).

You need to make an annual return to ACCA by 31 December 2008 – this applies to you even if you are studying on a full-time basis or not yet gaining relevant training. So what are you waiting for?

Do it now.

Login to myACCA to start recording your experience using the TDM and to complete your annual return. And visit ACCA Qualification Practical Experience Requirement (PER) for more information about ACCA's new practical experience requirements.
