Revised German Accounting Principles versus International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)  – quo vadis?

The talk addresses the revised German Accounting Principles in accordance with the German Accounting Principles Modernization Act (Bilanzmodernisierungsgesetz – “BilMoG”).  BilMoG constitutes the largest reform of German Accounting Principles in 25 years.  Arguably, it provides a more user-friendly alternative to IFRS from the company’s perspective.
