This practical workshop will show you that it is how we manage ourselves that makes the most impact on how we manage others. The session gives you an opportunity to explore your role as a people manager and communicator and consider the skills you have, and those you may wish to develop further.

The session will give you a brief insight into:

- Defining what a manager is and what they do
- What do managers, & those who are managed expect from each other?
- Meeting people where they actually are, not where we would like them to be
- Increased awareness about managing your non-financially ‘savvy’ people
- How to model the skills and behaviours exceptional managers need to succeed

Margaret Zuppinger is a principal Training Consultant, along with her partner Tony Zuppinger, of Margaret Zuppinger Partnership Ltd, a consultancy set up 16 years ago, specialising in interpersonal and behavioural training and development. Margaret’s training supports the achievement of personal, professional and organisational goals and objectives. She is also an author and motivational speaker, and as a motivational speaker, she brings together her experience in both the public and private sector, and as a training consultant across a breadth of professions and industries, to her audiences.

Margaret believes passionately in supporting people to become the best they can within their chosen professions, and encourages them to do so with a high energy, inspirational and interactive delivery style. Margaret is currently involved in delivering Presentation & Communication skills training to managers, senior managers and directors within UK Trade & Investment across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
