Houston Chapter Meeting September 11

Irina has invited Becky Wallace from PwC's experienced recruitment team as the featured speaker.

Becky started working for PwC in 1997 (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) in HR.  As the firm started to grow, she decided to take the recruiting path vs. HR. Becky was a campus recruiter for The University of Texas, Texas A&M University, Trinity University, University of Houston, and others, primarily representing the Assurance Practice.
After 8 years of campus recruiting, she decided that she wanted a different challenge and moved into 'experienced recruiting' in July of this year. She is now the Experienced Sourcing Manager for Greater Houston which includes Houston, New Orleans and Tulsa.  She is responsible  for all lines of service.

The subject of her presentation is "Sourcing in Todays Market."

The topics will include:
PwC's structure, benefits, employment guidelines
Application and Interview process
How to manage your career path
Current market and strategy

This promises to be an interesting and informative event as well as an opportunity to meet new members and students and renew old acquaintances.

As usual, the meeting will be subsidized by ACCA-US for members, affiliates and students.  Guests are most welcome, but are not subsidized.  There will be a cash bar.

The event will qualify for CPD credit.  One hour equals one credit.
