ACCA and MMU launches ACCA Qualification
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) officially launched its ACCA Qualification in Multimedia University (MMU) today at Cyberjaya. The launch marks another success of the tertiary institution in providing a higher education and qualification to students.
Tay Kay Luan, ACCA Director ASEAN and Australasia in his address said: “ACCA is indeed delighted to be collaborating with Multimedia University, which has built a far-reaching reputation for leadership and excellence in education. It is ACCA’s mission to provide education opportunities and access to people of ability around the world regardless of their background, gender, geographical locations, age, as well as support them throughout their careers in a wide variety of disciplines.”
“The launch of ACCA Qualification in MMU illustrates the serious commitment in providing the right channel towards producing professional accountant for business,” he continued further.
The launch also saw the newly set up ACCA Student Charter by MMU Accounting Club, which to further encourage MMU students to take up ACCA Qualification.
Dato’ Zamzairani Mohd Isa, Group CEO of TM, Dato’ Abdul Aziz Abu Bakar, Chief Human Capital Officer of TM and Prof Dr Zaharin Yusoff, President of Multimedia University were present during the Launch.
