The first phase of voting for The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) readers' survey and scoring platform for the second biennial Readers' Choice Awards has now been extended.
Report readers can influence the future of sustainability by scoring the submitted reports until 3 March 2010. You can nominate up to 50 organisations you believe should gain recognition for outstanding sustainability reporting and, through this survey, voice your opinion on the state of reporting today. Voting on the shortlist of nominated organisations will begin on 11 March 2010.
Supported by ACCA as a Content Partner Organisation, the Readers' Survey is complemented by the Reporters' Survey, which was launched in November 2009. This new Reporters' Survey allows organisations issuing a sustainability report to inform readers what their objectives are in writing the reports.
Responses from the 2010 Readers' and Reporters' Surveys will be used to generate a new and insightful account of the state of sustainability reporting today and gauge if reports really do change views and behaviour.
Both the award winners and the survey results will be announced at the 2010 Amsterdam Global Conference on Sustainability and Transparency, taking place on 26-28 May 2010.
