ACCA has recognised the need to provide practical support to help you fulfil your management and leadership development training needs and has been working with CMI since 2010 to promote the benefits of CMI membership to ACCA members.
CMI can now confirm that all ACCA members who have completed the ACCA qualification are eligible2 for both CMI membership AND for CMI’s qualified route to gaining the Chartered Manager (CMgr) award.
To obtain the Chartered Manager award applicants must complete a submission form and interview to demonstrate consistent effective performance within the last 18 months. The qualified route reviews your personal skills and expertise in leading people and managing change, and how these skills underpin continually effective performance and make a positive contribution to your organisation. ACCA members who apply to become a CMgr will benefit from a 50% reduction in the annual membership fee as well as from the recognition for the management development already undertaken as part of their ACCA qualification. Gaining the CMgr award will provide evidence that you have high level management skills.
