New applications
If your organisation trains ACCA trainees or members, you can apply for ACCA Approved Employer status online.
How the application process works:
1. Submit your application.
Submit your application form online. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
2. Provide contact details of ACCA trainees or members.
When filling in your application form, please provide contact details of ACCA trainees or members employed at your organisation. We will get in touch with them to verify your application.
3. Fill in the Approved Employer assessment matrix.
The Approved Employer assessment matrix forms part of the application form. Any employer applying to become an ACCA Approved Employer must meet a number of best practice statements relating to the support they provide ACCA trainees and members in the workplace.
Employers only need to meet the training statements relating to the stream of approval for which they are applying - trainee development, professional development or practising certificate development. However, all practising certificate development applications must meet Trainee Development status at the silver level or above as a condition of the programme.

4. We will email you.
We will email you to let you know if your application has been successful.
5. Monitoring
If your organisation is awarded ACCA Approved Employer status, we will monitor how it is getting on. The monitoring may take place through a visit by an ACCA representative or be undertaken remotely by us; we will let you know in advance if you are due to receive a monitoring visit or will be monitored remotely.
