Members

ACCA members are employed in a wide range of roles in the corporate, public and private practice sectors - 60%, 11% and 29% respectively. Many hold senior managerial and executive positions including finance director, CFO and CEO positions in large and small organisations around the world.

38% of ACCA members are under 35 years old and 72% are under 45 years old so career advancement is of high importance to them. Over 77% of ACCA members have expressed a desire for more information about careers and job vacancies.

Students and affiliates

ACCA students work and train in a wide range of organisations, large and small. 57% work in the corporate sector, 29% in public practice and 14% in the public sector. 

51% of students and affiliates are female - a fact about which we are very proud. Students and members are also a dynamic and diverse group. The career and geographical mobility that the ACCA Qualification offers is highly valued by students and affiliates. Over 130 nationalities are represented with a corresponding diversity in ethnic groups.

Learning support is consistently rated very highly by students in satisfaction surveys. 91% of ACCA's students have expressed a desire for more information about career opportunities and recruitment and advisory services. In particular, ACCA's 21,000 affiliates (individuals who have completed their examinations) are working towards fulfilling the three-year practical experience requirement in order to become members.

Employers

Through our business relationship managers, we have built relationships with a large number of employer organisations worldwide. Of these nearly 8,500 have closed to register with ACCA as Approved Employers, providing learning and development opportunities to thousands of ACCA students and members.

Learning providers

Learning partners are central to ACCA's ability to provide a global accountancy qualification. Over 400 institutions in over 60 countries have opted to register as ACCA Approved Learning Providers, helping to promote excellence in learning and development.
