UK signs double tax treaties with Hong Kong and Singapore

The UK taxation agreement and protocol with Hong Kong came into force on the 20 December 2010 and is effective from 1 April for corporation tax and 6 April for income tax and capital gains tax.

The protocols to the following double taxation agreements came into force:

Singapore was signed on 24 August 2009 and came into force on 8 January 2011. Georgia amendments were signed on 3 February 2010 and came into force on 17 December 2010.
