COURSE OVERVIEW

The Handbook sets out the obligations market participants may have in relation to what is known as ‘The City Code’ (the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers). Whilst the overall responsibility for corporate takeovers and mergers belongs to the Takeover Pane, the FCA works closely with it to ensure that standards of conduct are met by market participants.
