The online course includes all the study materials you will need, although you will also benefit from having a copy of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board's (IPSASB) 2014 Handbook of International Public Sector Accounting Pronouncements, which can be accessed from the 'Related links' section.

You can apply online at any time. After you have paid by credit card, you will receive access to the online course and assessments for three months. Typically, a student should take 30 hours to work through the course. The certificate is assessed by a one-hour online exam with multiple-choice questions.

Upon completing the exam with a mark greater than 50%, you will receive a certificate from ACCA confirming that you have successfully completed and passed the certificate in International Public Sector Accounting Standards in Arabic.

The fee covers two attempts to re-sit the assessment if you fail but must be taken within three months of accessing the online course. If you do not pass after three attempts, you will need to pay another registration fee to attempt the assessment again, giving you a further three attempts to pass.
