Bringing values to life through communication

ACCA and Black Sun are jointly organising an event to explore how business leaders can embed values in organisations through ongoing communications on 3 April 2017, London.

Corporate culture is increasingly considered as a significant driver of value creation (or value destruction, when the wrong culture is in place). To ensure the right culture is embedded in organisations, it needs to be part of everyone's job description, and business leaders should act as 'transmission engines' of the company values.

Following the recent publication of the ACCA's 'culture-governance tool' and Black Sun's 'Reporting on Corporate Culture' report, ACCA and Black Sun are jointly organising an event to explore how business leaders can embed values in organisations through ongoing communications.

Speakers and audience members will have the opportunity to share practical examples of how they have helped embed values in their organisation. We will also explore how business functions can work together to ensure values can be continuously reinforced and act as a real guide to shape behaviours, drive performance and reputation.

Speakers:

  • Sarah Powell, Director of Treasury and Communications, The Rank Group
  • Kathryn Pritchard, Group Chief People Officer at ODEON & UCI Cinemas
  • Matt Dolphin, Finance Director, Critical Service, Babcock International Group.
