Funding

ACCA research: be part of it – how to apply for ACCA funding

This is an exciting time to be conducting research for ACCA. The finance profession continues to evolve and, more than ever before, ACCA is using the research it commissions to inform and influence governments, regulators and standard setters around the world.

Accordingly, results of research commissioned by ACCA are reported nationally and internationally as well as cited in government debates, helping to further raise the profile of ACCA-supported researchers as well as ourselves.

Funding for research

ACCA welcomes and encourages applications for research grants that seek to address any of the issues outlined in this document. There are no minimum or maximum grant amounts funded, although typically grants are made between £5000 and £20000. Applications from multi-disciplines are encouraged where appropriate; additionally, ACCA is happy to consider and will sometimes pursue joint support for applications with other organisations such as government departments, research councils and other respected organisations around the world.

As would be expected of a world-class research programme, all research applications go through a review process before being put before ACCA's research committee for final approval.

To apply for ACCA research funding, please read the  guidelines for  applicants and complete and return the funding proposal form (see Related Documents link on the left).

Funding for events

Given its global spread, ACCA is proud to sponsor high-quality, research-led events organised and held in countries all around the world. Events with focus on supporting academic study of a subject in alignment with the issues covered in this document are favoured, as are those that aim to encourage debate among and between academics and policy makers internationally.

To apply for event sponsorship, complete and return the events sponsorship application form (see Related Documents link on the left).

If you'd like more information about how to apply for ACCA funding, contact Barbara Grunewald, Senior Research Officer, ACCA London, email barbara.grunewald@accaglobal.com.
