IFRS benefits, lessons learned future challenges
A Royal NIVRA and ACCA joint event

ACCA and Royal NIVRA of the Netherlands recently hosted their ever joint event in Amsterdam. The event on "IFRS challenges, benefits and lessons learned" was attended by over 40 members of ACCA and NIVRA who enjoyed presentations from Allen Blewitt (CEO of ACCA) and Rob Bosman (Technical Director of NIVRA).   Allen introduced ACCA's global theme for the year (global standards - the business benefits) and stressed how important that business is given the chance to comment on global standards.   Rob Bosman added, "we have appreciated the opportunity to take part in this event and look forward to following similar occasions to join our resources".

This marks an important milestone on ACCA's development in the Netherlands and ensuring availability of English speaking CPD courses.
