Terms and Conditions
The accelerate programme is only open to students studying a degree programme at a recognised institution (a government recognised public status institution; or a government recognised private institution, which under regulation holds the equivalent powers of a public status institution). Final year students must have at least five (5) months remaining of the final year of their degree programme.
Upon graduation, accelerate students have up to one year to transfer to the ACCA Qualification free of initial registration charge. After this time, an accelerate student will be required to pay the full initial registration fee for the ACCA Qualification.
Final year students wishing to join 'full' accelerate programme must have at least 5 months remaining of the final year of their degree programme.
It is the responsibility of the accelerate student to notify ACCA of any change to their postal, e-mail address or student status, either while registered as an accelerate student, or on transfer to the ACCA Qualification register.
Students who drop out or who have completed their degree programme are not eligible to register for the accelerate programme. Nonetheless, these students are eligible to register for the ACCA Qualification with full initial registration fee.
Accelerate students will be required to pay for all exemptions at the current rate once transferred onto the ACCA Qualification.
ACCA's accelerate programme does not entitle students to use the designatory letters 'ACCA' after their name. Nor does it entitle students to describe themselves as ACCA Qualification students.
Please note that by registering on the accelerate programme, you are not registered on the ACCA Qualification and are not eligible to sit ACCA exams until you transfer to the ACCA Qualification upon graduation.
