In the UK, we’re a Recognised Professional Body (RPB) under the Insolvency Act 1986 and have a monitoring scheme in place to help us fulfil our obligations.
What this means for you is that as an insolvency license holder, you’ll be visited once every three years to check you’re complying with the insolvency legislation and Statements of Insolvency Practice. As a licence holder, you should also apply annually to have your licence renewed.
