Important dates and fees

Registration

Registration can take place at any time, however if you wish to take part in specific paper-based examination sessions, the following deadlines apply:

For the June exams
Register by 31 December of the preceding year
For the December exams
Register by 15 August of the same year

Computer-based exams

Although you do not need to register by the usual registration deadlines to sit CBEs, you will still need to ensure that you are registered as a CAT student and in possession of your student registration number. Please allow at least six weeks for your form to be processed and for your student number to be issued.

Joint Examination Scheme

Do you live in Barbados, Belize, Cambodia, Guyana, Jamaica, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Swaziland, or Trinidad and Tobago?

Then you can sit our internationally-accepted exams to satisfy the exam criteria for ACCA and the national accountancy body simultaneously. We call these Joint Examination Schemes.

Fees

On registration you will be asked to pay an initial subscription fee. Then on 1 January each year, an annual subscription fee will be due. As you enter for exams or claim exemptions, a payment will be requested.

The following fees are applicable in 2009 (and are subject to change without written notice)

*If you have previously been registered with ACCA and wish to re-register, you should complete a re-registration form which can be obtained from the ACCA office in your country. The re-registration fee is £58 (an additional penalty fee of £58, plus any outstanding fees that you owe, may also be charged if you were removed from the register for non-payment of any fees and had not previously informed ACCA that you wished to leave the register).
