Joint Examination Schemes (JES)

Do you live in Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Cambodia, Cyprus, Greece, Guyana, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malawi, Malta, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam or Zambia?

Yes?

Then you can sit our internationally-accepted exams to satisfy the exam criteria for ACCA and the national accountancy body simultaneously. We call these 'Joint Examination Schemes'.

If you are a resident or a national of one of the above countries, you will be able to register with both ACCA and the national body for the ACCA Qualification.

For CAT ACCA operates Joint Examination Schemes in co-operation with the following professional accountancy bodies:

  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB)
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Belize (ICA Belize)
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants in Guyana (ICAG)
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants in Jamaica (ICAJ)
  • Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA)
  • Certified Accounting Technicians (Singapore) Ltd
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants in Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT)
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sierra Leone (ICASL)
  • Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA)
  • The Swaziland Institute of Accountants (SIA)

This means that as a resident or national of any of these countries, you can gain access to the technician qualification of these local bodies as well as hold ACCA's CAT designation.
