logo

We are introducing our revised logo from 21 September 2007 and aim to have replaced the current logo on our materials and in our offices by the end of September 2008. The new logo, which is an updated interpretation of the current one, is more iconic and better suited to the demands of communicating in the digital era.

In order to minimise costs and disruption to our business operation,we will be replacing the logo on materials as existing supplies run out. Therefore, there will be a period of time where you may receive or see materials containing the old logo. While we will do our best to minimise this, we would ask all of our stakeholders and business partners to bear with us during this transitional period.

ACCA members who display the current logo should replace this with the new version when they are next reprinting stocks of paper or brochures. The new logo and usage notes can be obtained by e-mail from logo@accaglobal.com Please quote your ACCA membership number in the e-mail.

ACCA Quality Checked member practices, Approved Employers, Approved Publishers and professional and academic partners will automatically be sent the appropriate logo and usage notes in due course.

Tuition providers who are approved at Gold or Platinum under the new Approved Learning Partner – Student Tuition programme (which replaces the University and College Registration Scheme) will be automatically sent the new Approved Learning Partner logo for their level and should aim to start using this once their approval has been confirmed. Approval under the new programme will commence from 1 October 2007.

Subscribers to the Tuition Provider List, who are not approved under the new ALP programme, will be signposted on the ACCA website from 1 October, however, they will not be entitled to the use of an ACCA logo.

Tuition providers who were registered under the University and College Registration Scheme (UCRS) and who have applied for approval under the new ALP programme may be permitted to continue to use their UCRS logo until the end of 2007, or until their new approval has been confirmed.

Registered CPD Providers will automatically be sent the new logo on renewing their ACCA approval which is due in October 2007.

If you have further questions or need help with or advice about the new logo, please e-mail logo@accaglobal.com

About the revised logo

It is nearly 20 years since we first launched the current logo. We now need to ensure we have a corporate identity which can be consistently applied globally and which has been designed for online applications. We also want to continue to present ourselves as fresh and modern, supporting our desire to be relevant to business and aspirational to young people who wish to enter the accountancy profession. In introducing a revised logo, we also hope to ensure consistent global usage by all parties who use the ACCA logo under agreement. The revised logo and related corporate identity mirror ACCA's goal to be seen as a leader in the global accountancy profession, a vision based on unique values (including opportunity, diversity and integrity) and global delivery of our qualifications and support to members, based on globally consistent standards.

The revised logo is confident, but practical. There is a clear link to the current logo, which has become well-known in ACCA's active markets around the world. It is also practical - it can be implemented globally on a consistent basis. Because it continues to feature the square, a distinctive feature of the current logo, it will be cost-effective to implement across ACCA's suite of IT and administration applications - and continue to be a recognisable brand in the global accountancy profession.
