ACCA Approved Employer route

ACCA recognises that some employers provide excellent learning and development programmes for their employees. If you work for an organisation which is an ACCA Approved Employer - professional development, you may achieve your CPD by participating in your organisation's employee development programme and you are not required to follow the unit route. This is because ACCA is aware that your employer provides you with appropriate learning and development.

If you have worked for an ACCA Approved Employer - professional development for all or any part of a CPD year, you can indicate that you have taken the employer route when you make your annual CPD declaration.

It is your responsibility to confirm with your employer that they are an ACCA Approved Employer - professional development and that you or your team are covered by the approval. ACCA maintains a list of all employers who have gained approval under the professional development stream. If you are unable to confirm with your employer that they are an ACCA Approved Employer - professional development, then e-mail employers@accaglobal.com

Evidence

If you follow the employer route, you should keep evidence of your employment.

Visit the employers section of the website for further information on the ACCA Approved programme and to apply online.
