Cambridge ICFE (International Certificate in Financial English)

English is the international language of finance and accountancy, and with strong competition for accounting and finance roles in every sector, there’s never been a better time for members in international business roles to give their CV that all important boost.

To help you do this, ACCA offers the Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English (Cambridge ICFE) in partnership with the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (English for Speakers of Other Languages).

If you already have excellent financial English skills, why not demonstrate these to current or potential employers with Cambridge ICFE?

If you think your financial English skills could be improved, preparing for Cambridge ICFE could help you build your confidence in a wide range of international business situations. From participating in meetings and discussions of a financial nature to interpreting financial documents including statements, journal articles, letters, reports and proposals.

Cambridge ICFE assesses candidates' ability to understand spoken and written English in realistic contexts that accounting and finance professionals encounter in their daily working lives. The exam consists of four papers – reading, writing, listening and speaking – providing a comprehensive approach to developing financial English language skills.
