Recognition of ACCA qualifications

We regularly receive enquiries from students and members who wish to find out what their options are for further studies before or after they have achieved the ACCA Qualification. As a result, we would like all learning providers to provide information on the entry levels and exemptions that will be available to ACCA students and members from their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The ACCA qualifications that attract the most enquiries from students and members are the ACCA Qualification, Foundation-level awards and Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR). So it would be useful for us if learning providers can supply entry and exemption details to their programmes on the basis of these qualifications.

Full information on all ACCA qualifications, including syllabus details and exam papers, can be found under ACCA Qualification Resources under Related links.

The recognition information you provide will be made available to ACCA students and members on our website. By providing full details of entry and exemption, you will gain the opportunity to attract a greater number of professional students pursuing further studies.

You can access details UK universities who offer MSc Accounting and Finance programmes to ACCA students and members from the UK MSc Accounting and Finance Programmes section of our site.

Any institutions or professional bodies that are interested in accepting the ACCA Qualification as part of their entry requirements for postgraduate or professional qualifications, should contact recognition@accaglobal.com in the first instance.

Recognition guidelines, the ACCA Qualification structure diagram and ACCA Qualification Recognition Status documents are available in the Related documents section of this page.
