• ACCA UK Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2006 - Report of the Judges
• The judges' write up of technical recommendations arising from the ACCA Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2006 judges' meeting in December is now available on the ACCA website.
• The Future of Corporate Reporting - Tomorrow's Company
• This report, published by the business led think-tank Tomorrow's Company, reviewed the UK business reporting situation, one year on from Gordon Brown's decision to abandon plans to introduce the OFR proposal.
• Environmental Disclosures - First FTSE All-Share companies to report under the new Company Law reporting requirements
• This report, published by the Environment Agency and Trucost, found that 84 of the first 100 FTSE listed companies to report as required under the EU's Account Modernisation Directive business review did not disclose their environmental performance.
• Accounting Standards Board - a review of narrative reporting by UK listed companies in 2006
• This purpose of this review (carried out by ASB staff) of narrative financial reporting is to highlight strengths and weaknesses of current reporting in the interests of the widespread adoption of best practice.
• PwC survey looks at how prepared companies are for the Business Review
• With the Companies Act having received Royal Assent in November 2006, this study looks at a random sample of annual reports from over 120 quoted companies with the objective of understanding if, and how, the requirements and recommendations would have an impact on company reporting.
• LRQA survey on reporting of non-financial risks
• Findings of this survey suggest that the majority of UK businesses surveyed believe their non-financial reporting systems are failing to place sufficient focus on the "most important" risks facing their organisations.

• The 2006 Global Accountability Report analyses the accountability of 30 of the world's most powerful organisations.
• Covalence Ethical Ranking 2006
