ACCA UK Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2006 - Report of the Judges
The judges' write up of technical recommendations arising from the ACCA Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2006 judges' meeting in December is now available on the ACCA website. The report outlines the strengths of the winning reports and sets out clear recommendations for improvements to be made in the future to corporate reporting. These included:
- Linking strategic plans and objectives to sustainability
- Clearly disclosing boundary and scope of report
- Improved reporting on economic impacts
- Making assurance statements more useful and accessible to readers
- Improving communication methods for reporting.
The Report of the Judges also contains the write up of the 2006 theme research on climate change, carried out in partnership with FTSE Group. This report is available as a separate pdf as well, on the website.
