• Vodafone wins award for Best Report at the 2006 ACCA UK Awards for Sustainability Reporting ceremony
• The ACCA UK Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2006 ceremony was held on 1 March at the British Library in London. It was an exciting event, with presentations from Justice Mervyn King, Prof Jan Bebbington, David Aeron Thomas and Peter Michaelis, all examining a particular area of sustainability and reporting.

• Roger Adams, Executive Director - Technical has been asked to participate in the Prince of Wales' Accounting for Sustainability Project, which aims to develop systems to help organisations to measure more effectively the environmental and social costs of their actions.
• New research report published on ethical investment practices in UK charities
• The research, called Charity Ethical Investment - policy, practice and disclosure was commissioned by the ACCA and carried out by Kreander, Beattie, and McPhail - researchers at the University of Glasgow.
• ACCA's head of auditing practice appointed to AccountAbility's technical committee
• David York, head of auditing practice at ACCA, has recently been appointed onto the technical committee of AccountAbility, the leading environmental reporting campaign group.
