Partnerships
ACCA drives forward an active campaign on behalf of the wider SME community, working in alliance with leading small business opinion formers, agencies and the government.
- ACCA works with the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, co-operating on a programme of research sponsorship, seminars and policy development and consultation. The details of this programme are listed on the ISBE Website
- ACCA co-operates with organisations such as The Forum of Private Business, the Federation of Small Business and a range of other trade associations. ACCA also works with government agencies such as the Small Business Service, and a range of bodies who support small businesses such as the Bank of England and other SME related bodies.
- ACCA participates in a range of government working parties, such as the UK Cross Party Small Business Committee (APPSBG) and is a key member of the Better Payment Practice Group (BPPG), established by government to improve the payment culture in the UK. In addition, ACCA has strong relations with civil servants at DTI and HM Treasury.
- ACCA works to develop the profile of the Association and its members and to promote and protect the interests of the SME sector. ACCA has an active press and PR programme which focuses on issues affecting the sector and highlights these at local, regional and international level.
