Diploma in Financial Management – MBA Accreditation
Holders of the Diploma In Financial Management can gain exemption / recognition from the following postgraduate courses. Please contact these institutions directly to receive further details.

University of Leicester
MBA
Diploma in Financial Management holders are entitled to claim exemption from the Accounting for Managers assignment work. The MBA can be studied either 1 year full-time or between 2 to 5 years for distance learning.

The MBA provides a stimulating and intellectually demanding management programme which prepares senior managers in both public and private sector organisations to deal with the demands of complex and rapidly changing environments. It addresses the strategic dimensions of decision making through academic and practically-based team projects.

MSc / Postgraduate Diploma in Finance
Diploma in Financial Management holders are entitled to claim exemption from the Accountancy and Financial Statement Analysis assignment work.

The MSc Finance can be studied for either 1 year full-time or between
2 to 5 years distance learning. This course introduces the concepts of finance and the role of financial management in all types of organisations.

Bournemouth University – The Business School
Postgraduate MBA
The Bournemouth MBA has been established for many years. The underlying philosophy is to develop managerial competence and effectiveness. Attendance is
part-time in a variety of ways including weekends. The normal duration is three years, but an accelerated route reduces this to two and a half years for the whole programme. Special features include an international unit and a substantial management project (available in UK and Dubai – UAE).

Diploma Holders are awarded exemptions in the Accounting and Finance and Financial Analysis units. The Business School operates an Accredited Prior Learning and will consider application for direct second year entry to Diploma Holders on an individual basis.

Leeds Metropolitan University
Holders of the Diploma in Financial Management can gain various exemptions / recognition from the General Management Programme.

MA Finance and Accounting
Students are required to undertake 180 credits in order to complete this postgraduate qualification. DipFM Holders are entitled to claim 60 credits (one third of a masters course) on the basis of their Diploma and would therefore need only to complete six taught modules, a project, and research methods (120 credits). PG Certificate in Management / Certificate in Public Service Management / DMS (Yr1)
DipFM Holders are entitled to claim exemption from the Introduction to Finance unit.

DMS / Initial stage of Executive MBA
DipFM Holders are entitled to claim exemption from the Managerial Finance unit.

Full Time MBA
DipFM Holders are entitled to claim exemption from the Finance 1 and 2 units.
