| ACCA’s popular website, accaglobal.com, has been re-launched with a new design
and improved information and services. The award-winning site has a brand new
look with clearer design and navigation to help you find the information you need
from over 15,000 pages.
The redesign, launched this April, marks the first major change to the look
of the site since August 2001. The website continues to feature all the advantages
of the previous version, including:
- comprehensive coverage of ACCA news and press releases
- myACCA – to update your personal details and make payments online
- part question and answer papers – invaluable to ACCA students
- publications – including technical reports and an archive of student
accountant and accounting & business
- online exam results – delivered by e-mail and accessible online
- events – the latest ACCA events from around the world
- ACCA Mail – ACCA’s own web-based e-mail service
- ACCA Communities – for collaboration with other ACCA members and students.
New areas for affiliates and first time visitors have been added, in addition
to comprehensive content for students, members and employers. A new ACCA UK
website and other country-specific websites are planned.
Get interactive
ACCA is also developing new interactive services to complement the current range
of information on the site. A new tool for affiliates, ACCA
Indicator, has been launched. For the first time, affiliates online can
receive instant reports on how close they may be to qualifying for ACCA membership
by answering a few short questions. Indicator will even generate a personalised
action plan for affiliates with specific advice on the areas in which they need
the most support. The report may then be saved or printed.
A new e-business product, which will allow employers to administer ACCA accounts
on behalf of their employees, is also in development.
Website manager, Ken Wolf, said: “We are always looking at ways to improve
the site for all our users. With the enormous amount of information and services
now available online, the new design gives the website a modern look and will
help our customers get even more from ACCA.”
Students’ homepage
With a clear layout, the students homepage offers links to key areas including
the noticeboard and training information on the right-hand side. Dropdown menus
on the left allow you to jump straight to details on any of ACCA’s exam
papers and qualifications. As well as basic entry details these pages contain
past question and answer papers which are always in great demand.

through the online archives. There are also articles relating to specific papers.

responses to consultation documents. This channel also contains all the latest
information on ACCA’s work on sustainability and responsibility in business.
