Liability to disciplinary action

A registered student is liable to disciplinary action, whether or not he or she was a registered student at the time of the offence, if he or she falls within any of the circumstances set out in Bye-law 8. These include being guilty of misconduct in the course of carrying out his or her professional duties or otherwise, or breaching any regulation, in particular, the regulations set out here. Misconduct includes (but is not limited to) any act likely to bring discredit upon the registered student, ACCA, or the accountancy profession.
