an acca southern network event
The future is here.
Virtually all private companies in the UK will be affected by the once in a generation change to UK GAAP that is effective for accounting periods commencing on or after 1 January 2015 with retrospective application. This means for a company with a December year-end, the date of transition of 1 January 2014 has already passed.
This event will explore some of the key areas of difference including business combinations and financial instruments as well as consideration as to what the future effect on the FRSSE may be.
Jonathan Shaw FCCA is Chair of the Southern Members’ Network and is a member of both the ACCA’s Global Corporate Reporting Forum and the Practitioners' Sector Specific Network.
