Exam dates and deadlines

From 2016 ACCA exams will be held four times a year in all markets. In order to attempt exams, trainees must first register with ACCA. Trainees can register for ACCA at any time in the year, but the following deadlines apply to exam sessions:

Exam dates and deadlines

In order to attempt the June and December exams, ACCA registration is required. This can be done at any time in the year, but deadlines for exam entry do apply (as shown).

All exams currently offered in paper-based format will be available during the June and December exam sessions. Foundations in Accountancy exams are not available during the March and September sessions.

Remember, most of these exams are available as on-demand computer-based exams, which offer even greater flexibility and convenience.

Trainees can apply to do the Certificate in International Financial Reporting online at any time.

The course materials and assessment for the Certificate are available together for £235 or separately at a cost of £130 each.

ACCA members receive a discount automatically for the Certificate. The course materials and assessment are available together for £180 or separately at a cost of £95 each. The discount is applied automatically when members apply online with a valid credit or debit card and enter their ACCA membership number.

Competitive discounts are also available for bulk purchases made by employers and learning providers. Approved Employers and Approved Learning Partners are offered the best rates. These discounts are not automatically applied, but can be set up by speaking to our team via the email address ppqadmin@accaglobal.com

Trainees can apply for the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) at any time.

To be eligible for the December 2016 exam, applicants initially registering must complete an online application and ensure ACCA receives copies of all supporting documents no later than 17 October 2016.

The initial registration fee includes one exam attempt. The December 2016 examination fee is £185. 

Previously registered DipIFR students can re-sit the examination; the December 2016 re-sit fee is £185 for re-sit entries made prior to 31 October 2016. A late entry re-sit fee of £299 will apply to re-sits entered between 1 November 2016 and 7 November 2016.
