Studying with an Approved Learning Partner means you can expect to receive high quality tuition and excellent student support in a comfortable environment, conducive to study.

All of our Approved Learning Partners receive regular visits from ACCA to ensure that they are up to date on developments and continue to keep their standards high. Visits include private meetings with ACCA students to get their feedback on what it is like to study with the learning providers.

The approval programme has three major benefits for students:

  1. Best practice assurance: in becoming an Approved Learning Partner your learning provider will have been assessed against ACCA’s widely recognised and highly-regarded global best practice benchmarks. This provides you with assurance of the high-quality ACCA tuition and student support you will receive.
  2. Improvements in the quality of tuition and student performance: your learning provider will have access to a range of development opportunities and tools, provided by ACCA to help in the continuous improvement of their tuition and your performance.
  3. Investigation of student complaints against learning providers: If you are unsatisfied with the way your Approved Learning Partner has dealt with your complaint, ACCA can step in and request a report from the institution on how the complaint was dealt with through their complaints procedure.

This is the highest and most prestigious level of the programme. Platinum approved ALPs adhere to the highest standards to provide students with the best possible chance of success.

To be considered for Platinum approval, learning providers must already be Gold approved (see below) and, in addition to the performance targets that have been demonstrated to attain Gold approval, the learning provider must also meet ACCA's Platinum performance targets and pass-rate targets over two consecutive sets of results. Platinum ALP have to provide evidence of continual improvement and innovation.

This is the first level of the programme and requires learning providers to meet a range of challenging performance targets covering the institution's overall management and, more specifically, its ACCA course management and delivery.

Silver Learning Providers have demonstrated that they meet our criteria for approval, and are actively working in partnership with us to meet the remaining criteria for Gold approval.

We may conduct a visit to the Approved Learning Partner to investigate further, and upheld complaints may be grounds for the removal of the tuition provider from the Approved Learning Partner programme and the Tuition Provider Directory.

If you have a complaint against an Approved Learning Partner, you should make this in writing to:
