Corporate sector network
The Corporate Sector Network comprises approximately 20,000 members across the UK, from construction to travel/leisure, via IT/communications, retail and SMEs. Activities to support its members include:
ACCA On-Line Discussion Forum
ACCA UK has launched a new on-line discussion forum and we would like to invite you to get involved and have your say on an issue that matters to anyone who works in an SME environment: bureaucracy and red tape.
Taking part is easy please click here and follow the instructions and steps to quickly register your details to participate. Taking part gives you a voice and unlimited opportunity to share experiences with and gain information from fellow members working in similiar organisations.
I hope this discussion will lead to a better understanding of SME issues and to increase support of members, to supplement the work the ACCA has already done in this area.

The Finance Professional in 2020
In November 2007 Allen Blewitt, CEO ACCA presented to a large audience of ACCA Corporate Sector accountants on The Finance Professional in 2020. The presentation was very well received and as an outcome of positive feedback Allen has recorded the presentation for the benefit of the wider membership. The Network organises around a dozen events on behalf of its members per year. The majority are held in London, with the remainder across the country.
Attendance at these events is free but, as places are limited, please book in advance. These events will constitute verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) if the content is relevant to an individual's personal development plan.
