Public sector network
The Public Sector Network comprises of approximately 5,000 members across the UK. It provides services to finance professionals working across the sector, including central and local government, education and charities. Activities to support its members include:
Events/CPD
The Network organises 8 events per year on behalf of its members. The majority are held in London, with the remainder across the country.
Attendance at these events is free but, as places are limited, you should book in advance to avoid disappointment. These events will constitute verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) if the content is relevant to an individual's personal development plan. ACCA UK also organises a detailed programme of CPD courses for members in the public sector. Call 020 7059 5910 to request a brochure or visit Professional Courses on-line.
Magazine
Public Eye is a sector specific magazine normally published four times per year and mailed automatically to Public Sector Network members. Public Eye will soon be replaced with the new look A&B magzine with specific pages dedicated to the public sector. The final edition of Public Eye will be mailed to Public Sector members at the end of May 2009.
For past editions visit the Public Eye magazine pages.
