Pursuing excellence in professional education
By remaining true to its values, ACCA has provided opportunity to people around the world. Throughout its history, it has put qualities such as high standards, access to the profession, international relevance and innovation at the heart of its work. Above all this, it has provided the basis of rewarding careers for many thousands of professionals.
One of the reasons for ACCA's continuing success, and truly international presence, is the wide ranging recognition of its qualifications.
ACCA members work in all sectors: some 60% of the membership is in the corporate sector, 30% in accounting firms and 10% in the public sector. They hold a wide range of positions such as entrepreneurs, accounting professionals, auditors, financial and general managers - many at the highest levels and heart of business.
