Conference takes place in Prague 28 February and 1 March 2019
Tomáš Vyhnánek, Deputy Minister of Finance in the Czech Republic is the key note speaker for ACCA’s 9th International Public Sector Conference, taking place in Prague on the 28 February and 1 March 2019.
Since July 2015, Tomáš has held responsibility for the regulation of audit and accounting of public finances, and the financial audit of European and national funds.
An economics graduate from the Charles University in Prague, Mr Vyhnánek has also held various senior positions at Deloitte Advisory, ČSOB (the Republic’s largest commercial bank) and also the Ministry of Health.
Tomáš joins an international line-up of high-level speakers that includes Pamela Monroe Ellis, Jamaica’s Auditor General, alongside Thomas Müller-Marqués Berger, Chair of Accountancy Europe’s Public Sector Panel and Carl Dolan, Director, Transparency International EU.
ACCA’s conference is themed ‘A sustainable public sector’ and will address a number of key topics about financial sustainability and methods of funding infrastructure - including the launch of a flagship new report on Bridging the Infrastructure Gap.
