  • Kenneth Wong, FCCA, Chairman, ACCA Hong Kong

    Kenneth Wong joined PwC Hong Kong in 1997 and is now the leader of the Hong Kong tax controversy services practice. He has over 20 years of experience in tax consulting and is specialised in helping clients resolve complex tax controversial issues with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department. Kenneth has been serving ACCA Hong Kong Tax Sub-committee since 2010; and was elected to ACCA Hong Kong Committee as well as Tax Sub-committee as Co-chairman since 2014.

    Kenneth is also a tax partner in the International Tax and M&A Tax group advising clients on cross border tax planning and tax due diligence. In 2006, he was seconded to PwC Belgium to promote Hong Kong’s first comprehensive tax treaty with Belgium and help European clients set up tax efficient structures for investments into Asia, especially China.

    Kenneth is a Past President of Institute of Accountants Exchange, a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, and a Certified Tax Adviser (HK).

  • The Hon Paul Chan Mo-po, FCCA, GBM, GBS, MH, JP Financial Secretary, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

    Mr Chan is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

    Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council.

    Mr Chan served as Secretary for Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government from July 2012 to January 2017. He was appointed Financial Secretary on 16 January, 2017.

  • Agnes Chan, Hong Kong and Macau Managing Partner, EY

    Agnes Chan oversees all aspects of business operations of EY in Hong Kong and Macau. With more than three decades of experience in providing tax and business advisory services to a broad range of local and multinational corporations and organizations, Agnes’s clientele is spread across industries. Agnes advises C-suite executives on their growth and innovation strategies, helping them optimize portfolios, identify and assess new market growth opportunities, and reimagine future business models. She has also helped clients with their cross-border business and investment, supporting them in exploring new markets and refining their operations.

    Agnes also actively participates in public service through a variety of roles, including as a member of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, a non-executive director of the Securities and Futures Commission, a member of the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Advisory Panel on BEPS 2.0, a member of the Inland Revenue Department’s Users’ Committee, and a member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce’s General Committee.

  • Margaret Chan, Chief Executive & Registrar, The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants

    With over 30 years of experience in both financial services industry and public sector, Margaret Chan has expertise in a wide array of areas including corporate governance, investment strategy, risk management, information technology, finance and human resources. She occupied various roles in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Land Fund Trust, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the BOC International Group. Prior to joining the Institute, she held the position of Director of Corporate Planning and Finance at the Hong Kong Housing Society.

    Margaret received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma of Business Information Technology from the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong (currently known as City University of Hong Kong). She is a member of HKICPA, CPA Australia and HKIHRM.

  • George Hongchoy, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Link Asset Management Limited

    George Hongchoy joined Link Asset Management Limited, the manager of Hong Kong listed Link Real Estate Investment Trust in January 2009, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in May 2010.

    He is the chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Tracker Fund of Hong Kong (listed in Hong Kong), a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the Asia-Pacific Advisory Board of International Council of Shopping Centers, a global governing trustee of the Urban Land Institute and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation Limited. He was a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of Charoen Pokphand Group, Thailand from 2016-18.

    George began his career in New Zealand and has since moved into senior management positions in financial consulting, investment banking and real estate investment.

    He was named one of Harvard Business Review’s 100 Best-Performing CEOs in the World 2018, the Country Winner of Hong Kong/Macau Region in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 China Award, Business Person of the Year by DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards in 2015, and was also presented with the Director of the Year Award (Listed Companies – Executive Directors) by The Hong Kong Institute of Directors in 2011.

    George holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury and an MBA degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Senior Fellow and a member of the Corporate Advisory Council of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, a Fellow and Council Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors, and a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the Institute of Shopping Centre Management.

  • Kim-man Wong, Chief Financial Officer, HK Electric Investments

    Kim-man Wong is currently the Chief Financial Officer of HK Electric Investments and has over 35 years international financial management and accounting experience.

    He is appointed as a member of Financial Reporting Review Panel of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Council since July 2013 and becomes a Panel Convenor since July 2019.

    He has served in the Accountancy Advisory Board of Lingnan University since March 2002 and becomes its Chairman in September 2006 until now. He is also a member of Advisory Board of International Business for San Francisco State University since November 2007.

    He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is currently a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

    Jane Cheng is the head of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Hong Kong.

    A seasoned marketing and PR professional with over 15 years of experience, Jane brings a background focussed on corporate communications, investor relations, marketing and journalism. Prior to joining ACCA Hong Kong, Jane has held senior positions in leading multinational companies including GXS and CDC Corporation (formerly known as chinadotcom). She started her career in journalism, working as political reporter and US correspondent for Wharf Cable Television (now known as Cable TV Hong Kong).

    Jane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Hong Kong Baptist University, and an MA in Asian Studies from Seton Hall University. She completed an EMBA programme offered by The Chinese University of Hong Kong in July 2013.

  • Keith Chan, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, McDonald’s Hong Kong

    Keith Chan has over 25 years of extensive professional experience in leading financial management, transformation, innovation, strategic planning, risk management, procurement and information technology with various world-class multinational companies.

    Keith is currently VP and CFO at McDonald's Hong Kong, backed by reputable shareholders including CITIC Group, Carlyle Group and McDonald's Corporation. McDonald's has been a leading consumer brand and restaurant chain in Hong Kong for over 45 years, serving more than 1 million guests every day in Hong Kong with its 15,000 passionate employees. McDonald's is also strongly committed to corporate social responsibility efforts in Hong Kong to help under-privileged children in need.

    Prior to McDonald's, Keith held senior finance leadership positions in multiple top tier MNCs and global industry leaders, including Maersk, Volkswagen AG, Walt Disney, Philip Morris International, Swire Pacific Group and Sun Hung Kai Properties Group.

    In 2014, Keith was awarded the honour as the ‘CFO of the Year - Excellence in Technology Innovation’ by CFO Innovation Asia, marking an important milestone of his progressive career.

    Keith accomplished executive programs at various prestigious institutions including Harvard, IMD, INSEAD and The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Keith also holds an MBA Degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). In addition, Keith is a Certified Public Accountant in both the U.S. (AICPA) and Hong Kong (HKICPA).

  • Vanessa Cheung, Group Managing Director, Nan Fung Development Ltd and Founder, The Mills

    Vanessa Cheung founded The Mills, a revitalisation project transforming the old Nan Fung Textile Mills factories into a global destination for techstyle innovation, incubation, experimental retail, as well as textile-related art and culture. Through the project, she hopes to inspire both the younger generation and the intellectual development of Hong Kong, elevating the younger generation’s leadership. Vanessa is also the Group Managing Director of Nan Fung Development Ltd, overseeing the company’s Hong Kong property business. She is also appointed by the Chief Executive as a board member of the Antiquities Advisory Board and a member of the Council for Sustainable Development.

  • Jessica Lam, Group Head of Strategy, WeLab

    Jessica Lam is the Group Head of Strategy at WeLab – a leading fintech company in Asia with one of the first virtual banks established in Hong Kong. WeLab provides financial services by creating seamless digital experiences to over 42 million individual customers and also provides B2B enterprise solutions to traditional financial institutions which utilise WeLab’s technology to offer fintech-enabled services to their customers. WeLab operates WeLend and WeLab Bank in Hong Kong, WeLab Digital, Taoxinji and Tianmian Lab in mainland China and AWDA in Indonesia through a joint venture with PT Astra International.

    Jessica drives the group’s overall strategy which includes spearheading the rollout of the WeLab Bank. Prior to joining WeLab, Jessica spent over 12 years at Goldman Sachs in the areas of Investment Banking as well as Private Wealth Management.

    Jessica is a Board Member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK), an independent association of members who are representing Hong Kong’s fintech community globally.

  • Fiona Lau, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, SHOPLINE

    Fiona Lau is the COO and Co-founder of SHOPLINE, the largest smart commerce enabler in Asia. Fiona grew SHOPLINE customers and revenue 10X within one year and heads all the business and marketing operations of SHOPLINE with focus on partnerships and customer acquisition strategies.  

    The company has been recognized with several prestigious honours, including 500 Startups, Deloitte Technology Fast 20, SCMP Growth Champion 2019. SHOPLINE has reached over 200K global users in 2020, with a stunning growth of 225% yearly merchant growth rate. The robust commerce solutions and features of SHOPLINE provides a unique combination of an online store builder, cross-border commerce, POS, O2O integration, business consultation, marketing promotion service, and more for merchants in all different industries and sectors. Today, SHOPLINE has grown into a global team of 300 staffs, with offices located across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and China.

    Prior to founding SHOPLINE, Fiona has a background in retail and e-commerce at global firms such as Goldman Sachs and Hong Kong Disneyland, she is also a graduate of University of Chicago and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

  • Alice Wong, FCCA, Chief Financial Officer, Hong Kong Television Network Limited

    Alice Wong is the Chief Financial Officer of Hong Kong Television Network Limited and is primarily responsible for finance, treasury, procurement, administration, talent acquisition and management, legal and company secretarial and investor engagement functions. She has extensive experience in financial management, corporate finance and global investor relations, in particular on tech industries, such as telecommunications, multimedia and eCommerce industries. Alice holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland, a Master of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Governance. She is a qualified member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She has been a member of the Student Affairs Sub-committee of ACCA Hong Kong since 2010, and a member of the Accountancy Training Board for Vocational Training Council since April 2019. Before joining the Group, Alice had worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong primarily focusing on the technology, info-communications and entertainment sectors.

  • Jennifer Tan, FCCA, Chief Executive Officer, Alipay Payment Services (HK) Limited and Committee Member and Co-chairman of Professional Development Sub-committee, ACCA Hong Kong

    Jennifer Tan has been appointed as CEO of Alipay Payment Services (HK) Limited (APSHK) since October 2017. She is responsible for management and strategic planning of the company, leading the whole team to develop a wide variety of business. She is committed to promote AlipayHK in local markets, integrate mobile payment into daily lives of the public, as well as bringing Hong Kong users a brand new retail experience.

    Before joining AlipayHK, Jennifer gained extensive senior management experience with various Fortune 500 multinational corporations and global conglomerates. She had been working for Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Limited for over twenty years and her last position was Chief Operating Officer.

    Jennifer is a qualified accountant and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Jennifer has also completed The Cambridge-HKU Senior Executive Programme and Stanford Senior Executive Leadership Program. She is a fellow of several professional accounting associations and has been a Council Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Hong Kong since September 2015.

    Jennifer is active in voluntary services. She is the Member of the Master Science in Global Marketing Management Programme Advisory Group of Hong Kong Baptist University since May 2016. Jennifer has been the Chairman (since July 2019) and Vice-chairman (July 2016 - June 2019) of the Digital, Information, Telecommunication Committee of Hong Kong General July Chamber of Commerce. She is also the Charter Member of Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point and currently serves as the Deputy Fellowship Director of the Club.

  • Eugene Chan, Head of Talent Management, Alipay Payment Services (HK) Limited

    Eugene Chan is the Head of Talent Management at Alipay Payment Services (HK) Limited, a joint venture between CK Hutchison and Ant Financial. In his dual role, he is responsible for driving the organisation effectiveness as well as HR strategy for AlipayHK and building the business capacity to meet current and future talent challenges for AlipayHK. Before joining AlipayHK, Eugene was the HR Business Partner Manager, Asia Headquarter and Hong Kong and Macau at Pernod Ricard, where he was the HR Business Partner to drive people initiatives and provide business advisory in the areas of talent acquisition, rewards, talent management, employee relations and functionally acted as Hong Kong talent acquisition-in-charge and training-in-charge. Prior to Pernod Ricard, Eugene was the Regional Human Resources Business Partner at S.W.I.F.T. supporting the growth of S.W.I.F.T. in Asia Pacific particularly the establishment of corporate centre, office and venture in the emerging markets. 

    Eugene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from City University of Hong Kong and a member of the Retail Trade Training Board at Vocational Training Council.

  • Michael Wong, Director, Banking, Barclays Capital Asia Limited

    Michael Wong is currently a director in the investment banking department at Barclays Capital Asia Limited, overseeing the execution of Asia debt and equity capital markets transaction. He has been with Barclays for 14 years. Michael is a member of the Steering Committee of the REACH (disability) network and WFN (Working family) network within Barclays’ Hong Kong office. Prior to joining Barclays, Michael was at the Legal & Compliance department of Credit Suisse and trained as a solicitor at Baker & McKenzie, Hong Kong. He is involved with a number of HK charitable foundations and also sits on the board of the UNSW HK Foundation Board.

    Michael was graduated from the University of New South Wales and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and from the Oxford University and holds a Master of Jurisprudence. He is admitted as a solicitor to the High Court to the HKSAR.

    Teddy Liu is currently overseeing the Group Internal Audit function, responsible for the corporate governance, risk management, and compliance of one of the biggest property development group companies in Hong Kong. On the management services front, he is driving the group’s innovation process with setting the culture as the key, and realising innovations through a structured innovation process by engaging all key stakeholders within and beyond the group. He is also responsible for planning, promoting and managing the group's corporate strategy, management system, process improvement and business and operational reviews. 

    Teddy has been with the property development group for over 27 years with a wide range of experience from various roles undertaken within the group, including but not limited to accounting and finance, company secretarial services, merger and acquisition, corporate reorganization, business and change management, internal audit and risk management, talent development and corporate training.  On talent development and corporate training, Teddy had helped the group to establish their corporate university with comprehensive training curricula for all talents of the group, helping them to grow along with the development of the group.

    Teddy holds the Certified Public Accountants designation and is a member of various professional bodies in the field of accounting, company secretary and taxation. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA degree from The University of Hong Kong.
