Last year was a year full of unprecedented challenges, yet, thanks to the leadership and commitment of the previous committee, ACCA managed to transform challenges into opportunities. We moved our initiatives and services online, including the ramping up of flexible and online learning resources for members’ uninterrupted professional development, an innovative and interactive virtual careers fair to support employability of ACCA professionals, and the ACCA Hong Kong’s 70th anniversary where we virtually celebrated how generations of our members helped pass on the ACCA legacy. With ACCA’s reputable global brand and our vigorous world-class qualification, it is my pleasure to contribute to the continued success of talent nurturing and upskilling, as well as the empowerment of the accounting and finance profession,’ said Jennifer.

‘I strongly believe that every difficulty comes with opportunity. Taking up the chairmanship during this exceptional time, I will take a proactive attitude to overcome challenges. As the new term begins, I pledge to uphold the great traditions and strive to serve our members, future members, and partners to stay agile and relevant, and be able to create value for businesses under any circumstances. Facing an uncertain future, ACCA will continue our commitment to connecting the business community across the region, especially the economic growth engine – Greater Bay Area (GBA), supporting the sustainable development of organisations and the wider profession.
