Responsibilities of panel members
Panel members act as ambassadors for us. They advise on CPD content, inform us of emerging relevant sector specific issues and provide a channel for communicating the views of members to the Ireland Committee, Council and staff.
Panels meet periodically throughout the year and there is some additional consultation by email between meetings. Panel members often attend and chair relevant virtual CPD events each year and panel work qualifies for CPD as long as it is relevant to your present career. Members may stand for one panel only and the maximum period any member may serve on a panel is nine years.
If you would like to stand for election, please download the nomination form from the Related Downloads section on the right handside of this page, and return it with your candidate’s statement by 30 November 2022. Completed forms and statements need to be returned by email to email@example.com. Scanned or digitially completed forms will both be accepted.
If you would like to discuss the nomination process or work of the Panels, please contact:
ACCA Ireland's Member Engagement Manager, Lloyd Meredith.
