Examples of support service roles include:
- payroll professionals - ensuring accurate processing and payment of payroll, expenses and taxes
- executive or personal assistants - providing high-level administrative support to company executives

Although most roles are administrative in nature, support services perform duties which can have a significant impact on the success or profitability of a business.
